7 December 2025 – The ASEAN Health Symposium 2025 successfully took place at Dorsett Grand Subang, uniting policymakers, healthcare leaders, and regional stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and address emerging health priorities across Southeast Asia.
The event was officiated by YB Puan Jamaliah Binti Jamaluddin, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Public Health and Environment, Climate Change & Green Technology, who highlighted the State’s commitment to advancing sustainable and accessible healthcare.
The event was also honoured by the presence of Ms. Shaanti Shamdasani, Executive Director of ASEAN Indonesia, whose attendance underscored ASEAN’s shared focus on resilience, unity, and healthcare innovation.
Expert consultants from Selgate Specialist Hospital Rawang, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Faizal Bin Sikkandar, Dr. Selva Ganesan A/L Sockalingam, and Dr. Shahril Khalid, contributed valuable insights during the plenary sessions.
